away is a heritage horse ranch on a majestic property in malibu. It was operated for decades as an educational camp and is being reimagined as a place for healing.

We were thrilled to create a transformational design plan and to implement elements of healing space design for Awa’y. Visitors’ experience at the Ranch begins in the Welcome Barn. Through our design process we remodeled, re-envisioned and reconfigured the space, ensuring a result that is not only beautiful and functional but also, reflects the values guiding the project.

Awa’y strives to be an environmentally conscious sanctuary that invites people to recharge, explore, contemplate and forge deeper connections with themselves, one another and nature.
